ALLY Hydraulic Power Units

The Premium Power Unit

Certified by MET Laboratories Inc. a division of eurofins (Accredited by OSHA and the Standards Counsel of Canada as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory…aka NTRL) to meet the UL 201 3rd Edition: Standard for Safety for Garage Equipment, Revised March 31, 2015, CSA C22.2 Number 68 7th Edition: Motor Operated Appliances
Some brands are not certified nor have the UL 201 compliance as required in all USA and Canada cities for electric code. Other brands may not be certified to the current listed standard.

Certified for Electrical Compliance in the United States and Canada.
Some certified brands are only certified in the United States and not Canada.

2.1 Gallons per Minute flow rate.
Most typical brands have a lower flow rate because their electric motor does not produce enough torque over extended time.

208-230-volt single phase. 60 Hz.
Most motors will not operate in the latest 208 voltage systems…they are only rated at 220 volts.

2 hp 3450 rpm motor (3.5 hp motor torque equivalent).
Most motors are rated at 2 HP or even more. However, over the necessary run time lessor quality motors get hot and reduce speed rapidly resulting in deceased torque. ALLY Hydraulic Power Units has extra heavy-duty armatures and more motor windings with increased silver metal included in the wires and connections. ALLY Hydraulic units maintain constant torque through the lifting process because of far less heat generation.

3.5-gallon opaque high-density plastic tank.
Most other brands have a stamped black metal tank that does not allow you to see the fluid levels.

Pressure settings available from 2300 PSI to 3500 PSI.
Most brands do not offer the PSI power range without paying extra to upgrade to either a higher HP motor or converting to three phase power, which is very expensive.

Extra-large junction box for easy installation.
Extra-larger junction box allows installers to access the inside of the box and make electrical connections easier than traditional smaller boxes that makes the wiring and connections cramped…. sometimes resulting in electrical shorts.

Extra heavy-duty Honeywell BE22Q1-AL off/on switch. This is an extra cost that no power unit manufacturer will spend the extra money on.
ALLY Hydraulics elected to use this switch after reviewing our surveys as the number one complaint for all brands is that the on/off switch has the highest failure rate. Ally Hydraulics has used this well known switch model from day one….zero warranty in 4 years!

Pump outlet can be on either side of unit to allow pressure line to be mounted in the same position your current power unit.
Almost all brands do not offer dual outputs in their standard models.

3/8″ pipe thread port and internal pipe for lifts that have a cylinder vent return to tank.
ALLY Hydraulics are the only power units in production that allows the return line flow from non-pressured return lines. Additionally, internal lines can be used for slave side hydraulic functions as required by an older lift manufacturer.

Suction tube micro screen filter included.
Most brands include a suction pick up tube but do not include a fine micro-screen to prevent any debris from entering the pump. ALLY Hydraulics includes this for longer pump/motor life.

Dual outlet fitting and 90 elbow fitting include with every power unit for hydraulic lines.
Almost all brands do not include the correct necessary hydraulic line fittings or a 90-elbow hose fitting. This results in additional trips to a specialized hydraulic fitting store. ALLY Hydraulics includes this at no additional cost.

Two-year limited warranty.
Most other brands offer a one-year warranty that does not include prepaid freight both directions. Some other brands offer a limited two-year warranty for an extra cost at time of purchase only from their exclusive installers. ALLY Hydraulics warranties through our resellers and from the factory direct at no additional cost.
