Dually?

by

How can this handle a dually? Overall width is only 131 inches? My dually have a 158" wheel base.

best for the price

by

I was impressed how much more beefier this lift was then most of the other " storage lifts" out there. While the others would have worked I am glad I payed the slight difference for a better lift. I made up the difference by driving my trailer up to one of their stores and having them load it up for me.

Good deal on a great Lift

by

I purchased this unit for my new garage, that has affectionately been named the Taj Garage. I have a variety of size and weight vehicles I intend to use on it from a Shelby Cobra to an F-350 quad cab diesel pickup and a few things in between. It handles all of them effortlessly. With it all the way up I can walk under the ramps without ducking, I'm 5 foot 10. It is tall and wide but I have plenty of room for it.

no instructions

by

not a DIY no instructions have to print from web site and what is online is very poor put together 3 times and still ended up with cross rails reversed if you do try to diy make sure you partially remove cables from pulleys before you set runways other wise you will have to completely remove cables and reroute them in reverse as adjustment end will not fit between pulley and cross rails

This is absolutely the best tool I have!!!

by

I have had this lift for 5 years now. This is an awesome hobbyist lift. I highly recommend getting two air/hydraulic jacks with it. They are an absolute must if you work on vehicle wheels, suspension or brakes as I do. I use them almost everytime. I also recommend painting the wheel tread path on the runways with a bed liner or thick paint material, as the original top paint will wear off from sticking on and cause it to rust. And yes, you can roll the lift around your barn/ garage with two people.

good but not great

by

i bought this lift for more vehicle storage and occasional work on vehicles. this lift is tall enough, long enough, wide enough. safety locks work fine. this lift raises and lowers very, very slowly especially when not loaded. the heaviest vehicle i have had on this lift is a jeep wrangler. with the jeep on the lift, one of the runways deflects about 1" which is a concern to me considering the light weight of a wrangler. i have contacted customer support 3 times to discuss the deflection issue. the representative that i spoke with told me that he passed the information on to engineering. it has been about 7 months and i have not heard back from them. so with all that being said, i would say this is a decent enough lift for the hobbiest. the price is right, assembly is not difficult with 2 strong men of reasonable mechanical aptitude, and it is nice to be able to move it around with provided castors, assembly instructions are vague. but customer support is almost non-existent.

no instructions put rails and runways together 3 times and still ended up with the lock release on the wrong side it will have to do

on cloud nine

by

Great lift put in myself did have a fork lift. I liked it so much ordered a bike lift. there worth it just on the cleaning. Really like staying off my knees. Thanking about the matts under the lift next. Went for the air jack that jack is great. The rods for the lock in are in closed pic showed exposed called support after hrs the person I talked to was great helped a lot. with the jacks im 62 yrs young and can roll the lift around the shop with no help.

Well built, Great quality, Best price

by

This is a well built, well designed and strong heavy duty lift. I have an 8000 lift and this one is an amazing next step up. It accepts my 22' dually long box 4 door crew cab one ton diesel with ease, and gives lots of "work around room" for my small 13' sports car. Greg Smith has always been my "go-to" source when I want a great product, a the best price and shipped the least expensive way possible. And they have most everything in stock. And if you need anything, they are there to help right away.
