Atlas (ATEXHPRO8000) Garage Pro 8000 Portable 8,000 lb Capacity 4-Post Lift

The lift is excellent, and will be perfect for my purpose of occasional use and storage. I would say that the arrival condition and the directions do not really match up. For example the directions discuss the assembled posts but they are not assembled and the tops are interchangeable left and right which was not noticed at first. All in all it was relatively easy to assemble and there is a U-tube video out there which when combined with the instructions and common sense makes the project fun.

Purchased an Atlas garage pro 8000, picked it up and installed myself in one day. Excellent service, easy to assemble (first one I've ever put together), very well designed and solidly built...would highly recommend to anyone. I use it primarily for storing a vehicle.

Install went great the guys from Portland did a good job of delivery and setup. I am using the lift at this time for storage. A 32 Ford roadster on top and a 32 Ford 3 window coupe underneath.. I have a 2 post lift in the main building. But a 4 post loads the suspension for wheel tire / stance. I now have the best of both world . Price was right as was the delivery and install. I purchased the lift from the Delaware location by email. Pickup went smooth. One youngster (19) and I disassembled the package and laid all of the parts except the left ramp in place. Had to get help for that (I was 80 then). Three able youngsters can do that. Easy assembly. I can move it easily. Works as advertised. Do what you want, grease jobs, brake jobs( use the jack tray), change gas tank, transmission filter change, etc. I can store one of may cars on it and park one underneath. Makes my shop much more usable.

I ordered the lift and one week it was at my door step. So far its pretty cool it was easy to put it together but the directions we not much help . But the lift is great my buddy that helped me put it together ordered one same day.

I purchased this lift this summer and installed it with the help of 2 friends. Hardest part was lifting the platforms, but we used an engine hoist to raise them and lowered each onto some wheel dollies with 2x4s spanning across the dollies. We rolled them into the garage. The directions were good, but there is a 30-minute youtube video that helped too. It took us about 4 hours total to install.. I had to have a high-rise modification done to my 7 foot garage door. This included some rail extensions and replacing the normal garage door opener with a Liftmaster 8500 wall mount opener. I added a rubber grommet to the driveway where the hydraulic return line runs through and a clamp to secure the pressure hose to the upright to prevent it from getting caught on the caster wheel attachment point. The people at Greg Smith are friendly, helpful and very responsive. I have not only recommended these lifts to others, I would buy another one from them. It is a great deal and a great product.

I purchased the Atlas Garage Pro in June 2019 and had to pick it up myself since there were no forklift services out where I live. I had to use my engine hoist to lift the package out of the car trailer I rented along with a pair of truck skates. After that it was a systematic assembly which took me several days primarily because I accomplished this myself and my bad knee wouldn't let me spend more time per day. Works great, my knee thanks me and I've already removed the engine, transmission and exhaust system. Using the lift for these operations really saves time and injury.

I purchased my lift a few months ago and it is without a doubt the best purchase for my shop I have ever made. I am retired and the lift makes working on my 56 Chevrolet so much easier. I can tackle jobs I would normally have to send out. The quality is superb and it has worked flawlessly since day one. It arrived three days after I placed my order and I have never needed customer service because everything has worked great.

I bought one of these last year for my house to add storage space for yet another car, and it's been fantastic. I picked it up myself at the Maryland warehouse and assembled it myself with the help of my son. We had it off the trailer and ready to use in just under 4 hours. It goes together very intuitively. The only issue I have: the grease nipples supplied for the cable pulleys don't fit the threaded holes. So I had to source proper fittings. Otherwise, I love this lift. I also have a heavier duty Bendpak, but this one suits me much better. I attended Corvettes at Carlisle a week after I got my Atlas. They were there offering the same lift as mine for $100 less. Tried to get a refund or at least a store credit, but to no avail. What's up with that GS? Anyway, it's a lot of lift for the money.

I've had my lift for a couple months now and I love it! It is a longtime dream come true and after doing the research...the atlas lift is a great bang for the buck so far. I not only have worked on cars with it...but also use it as a work platform to insulate the ceiling of my barn and to put up lights. I'm very happy with my choice!

My only regret is not buying my Pro 8000 sooner. Not only makes it easier to do vehicle maintenance but allows for storage of another vehicle and frees up space in the garage. Also have piece of mind if any flooding in the area is suspected. Great way to make car friends too!

Just had this lift installed in my home/hobbyist garage. Works great and looks beautiful. The installers were professional and did a great job. I highly recommend this as opposed to storing your car somewhere in the off season. I couldn't be more pleased and my college aged son is thrilled he can save money and time and work on his own car in the comfort of the garage!

I purchased the Atlas Garage Pro 8000 as a kit that included the RJ-35 sliding jacks so I could park more cars in my garage. So far I have been very pleased with the lift. It does exactly what I needed it to, and the price is great for this product. Overall, for the price and for a hobbyist (light use), this is the perfect jack.

Good lift for the money. I didn’t read enough of the details prior to ordering so I was surprised to see MADE IN CHINA all over it.

Lifted the posts and rails by hand. Easy. Used an engine hoist for the drive ramps. One was very heavy the other not so bad. Just lifted and rolled one at a time. Make sure to put the brackets on while bolting up the drive ramps to rails. Also make sure you install the unlock rod if you put the pump end by a wall. It is about 6’long. We had no directions but there is a lengthy video on utube. All the cables and brackets look intimidating at first but it all goes together with ease. Bleeding was simple. Filled to the mid level and raised/lowered to about 2’ 5-6 times. Done. Level all way around hanging from cables then rest on locks and level the lock rods. Love the lift and so does my back.

The lift seems pretty well thought out and to be a quality piece. Comparing to other manufacturers builds shows very similar designs. The finish is ok but structurally seems very sound. Only major complaint is that when I went to the depot to pick it up the gentlemen loading it damaged the powdercoating on this lift and the 2 post lift I purchased. Employees need to be much more careful when handling these items.

Great lift well constructed , good deal for the price . The instructions sucked , they need more illustrations especially in the cable pulley and lock system . The lift I would definitely recommend .

I purchased two of these along with an Atlas 2 post about 7 months ago. I use these primarily for storage, oil changes, and quick inspections. I was able to assemble these by myself with the help of an engine hoist, but the instructions did leave something to be desired. I would however recommended having someone to assist you during assembly for your own safety. If you are a serious hobbyist, you will probably be able to assemble with the included instructions, if not I'm sure a call to Greg Smith can answer any assembly questions. Both lifts operate smoothly, and the casters allow easy movement of the lift. Note that it is very important to be sure the lift is properly leveled (as with any lift). Overall I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of these unts and have recommended them to family and friends.
