Headache

by

I just installed the Atlas 2 post 9000 lb lift. The lift seems to work great but I have to tell you that the instructions are some of the worst that I have ever seen. If you aren't good at figuring out how to build this type of thing than I suggest you look for another lift.

Poor quality

by

Im kind of torn here, i have an atlas tire changer and balancer that are great, but im not impressed with this lift. The cable adjustment is horrible to get at, not easy at all like most lifts. This lift also has manual unlocking locks, you have to unlock both sides before lowering. I have to hook the cable up to something because the locks will not stay released while lowering (as stated that they would). After 10 days of use the lift still jumps when going down unless theres weight on it. Lift in general is sketchy, im very glad its a 3rd lift that we dont use much. I would be scared to be under this thing every day. Overall the quality is poor, yet some things are impressive. Very large diameter cables, nice adapters, and easy to install for the most part. All in all, i would not reccomend.

Fast shipping great lift

by

Nice lift they were very helpful in getting it shipped to a local place were I could get it loaded on my trailer works great easy to set up

Amazing lift for the money

by

Lift came as described, easy installation and works flawlessly would recommend to anyone

Pretty good lift for the price.

by

I bought this lift and before i bought it did some research online. Quality is good, installation was pretty easy. Adjusting the cables is a bit harder than other lifts. Comparing it to other 12 lifts we have in the shop i work at is pretty good. I had had this lift in my house garage for almost 2 years and from all the daily use still working good. Im sure you can buy another brand but will be a lot more expensive.

I have 2 of them, prices have doubled since Tooltopia took over Greg Smith, won’t lift 9k pounds, 1500 series at best and struggles, should had kept the old worn out lifts which lifted more with leaking cylinders, good luck

Good lift, no issues.

I've had this lift for a year and a half now and it's awesome! My only complaint is the bolts that come with it are absolutely awful and I swapped them out immediately for some Hilti ones. Otherwise no issues with setup or adjustment and it has worked totally fine ever since with no issue. I do admit I don't fully trust it since there aren't many floor anchors to hold it down, I've lifted my Tundra with it without issue but I'm very cautious (though there's been no sign of issue with that ~6500lbf weight). I mainly use it to lift my ~4000lbf buggy. Regardless, I paid much less for it and have no complaints for the price I paid. For $3400 I would consider other more well known options as well.
