Atlas (ATEAPPVL10) Platinum PVL-10 ALI Certified 10,000 lb. Adj Height 2-Post Overhead Car Lift
Product Information
The Atlas Platinum PVL-10 can be installed with the columns positioned symmetrically or asymmetrically. When the columns are installed in the asymmetrical configuration, there may be some benefit to open car doors. When the columns are installed in the symmetric configuration there is more width between the columns. Please check the specifications page and picture gallery to determine which height setting and column configuration (asymmetrical or symmetrical) would be the best for your application. Both column configurations offer easy vehicle access and superior vehicle lift point support due to the three stage front arm design.
The Atlas Platinum PVL-10 features three (3) stage telescoping front arms, double screw rubber/metal adapters with truck height extensions, protective rubber pads mounted to the carriage , rubber column guards, and a price that cannot be matched.
This product features an ALLY Hydraulic AL2850 Power Unit. This premium power unit is certified by MET Laboratories Inc. for electrical compliance in the United States and Canada. Extra heavy-duty armatures and more motor windings with increased silver metal included in the wires and connections create far less heat generation and allow ALLY Hydraulic power units to maintain constant torque through the lifting process. This power unit also carries an industry leading two-year limited warranty.

Atlas 2 post

The lift arrived exactly when they said it would. Very easy to install and this is my first Lift. Had a few scratches but not a big deal. I’m glad I went with Greg Smith equipment and atlas
Decent but expensive with design flaw

The instructions are not very good.it wasn't to hard to put together. I don't like how the equalizer cables are in the carriage. instructions say sandwich the the 2 nuts between the holes. You can't tighten the lower bolts. tech support suggested to push the lower cable to the top and use it as jam nuts. One of the nuts is a nylon locking nut. I replaced those nuts with regular style so They could lock together. The other thing I don't like about the equalizer cables is they both secure on the same side. other lifts including other atlas lifts have one side attached to the right side of the carriage and one side to the left. When lifting some trucks I notice my safety locks are not equal. I've tried adjusting for this but never seems to stay. It's hard to keep both cables at the same tension because of the design where the cables are anchored in carriage. One side is tighter than the other. I had to buy a needle grease fitting for my grease gun. the standard fitting it to large.
Great experience

Great lift, fast shipping and amazing costumer service! I will definitely buy again.
Great Lift. Highly Recommended.

Great lift. Easy to install (but still a lot of work). High quality. Had no issues whatsoever and absolutely love it. I would highly recommend it.

We're ready to purchase our second one. As the description states, from a smart car to a full size pickup. Wish we could post actual pics for proof. Downside is that this beauty arrived scratched due to improper packaging and handling.
Good value/quality but very (very) poor instructions
by anonymous
A one star deduction for very poor instructions. It came with a different kind of limit switch (mercury tilt switch) which mounted differently than the switch in the instructions. I finally figured out it was a Champion Lift switch and then could see how it was mounted. The illustrations are lacking detail and the written material was not very descriptive at all (go look at BendPak instructions and compare). You'll need to be pretty sharp to figure out how to put this thing together the right way. It was packed very well and there was no damage to anything. No parts were missing. It has good build quality, none of the threaded connectors stripped, and the part tolerances were good. The welds looked good as well. You get the full set of lift adapters (others charge you extra). I also like the new color scheme if that matters :) In operation, it is smooth and powerful and works as it should. I'd buy another Atlas. Good quality and value.
A good lift that's powerful.

bought this lift last summer, it's been a good lift, 2 of the screw adapters were welded crooked but tool-topia got me replacements, i lifted a 2004 one-ton chevy 4wd 4 door with a steel flatbed, it was heavy.
i use 4 ton adjustable stands under the heavy rigs when they are up.
