- Forcing a gravity return ram to retract wastes both time and money . This OTC series of single acting, spring-return rams eliminates that waiting . With their low collapsed height and the stroke you really need, these rams are ideal for a variety of applications . You can choose from capacities of 10 to 100 tons and strokes from 1-1/2" to 2-7/16", with the largest ram being only 7 3/8" high! Bronze-plated piston rods resist scoring, and each ram can be dead-ended at full capacity for maximum safety . Each Shorty ram has an angled coupler port (5) for easy hook up .
