    This is a “Go-No-Go” brake lining assessment tool that has a “Standard Width Go” indicator (used for standard lining) and a “Wide Width Go” indicator (used for extended lining). This tool does not give exact lining remaining. Designed for fleet maintenance programs, this tool eliminates the “guesswork” by the technician or sales professional. It allows you to immediately assess brake lining remaining (either extended or standard lining) for resale or trade spec purposes. How it Works: You simply insert the tool between the brake shoe table and the drum at the space between the lining blocks. Brake lining remaining is immediately assessed - safely and accurately with no wheel or brake drum removal*, without releasing or backing off the brakes. If the tool slides in, no replacement is required at this time. With a good maintenance program in place, the brakes should make it to the next regularly scheduled maintenance inspection.
